This year we want to participate at the 'Flensburg liebt dich Marathon' while collecting donations for the work of Flüchtlingshilfe Flensburg e.V.
We are employees, volunteers, friends and supporters of the organisation. With two echelons and one runner over the half distance we would like to run exactly 105,4875 km for the benefit of Flüchtlingshilfe Flensburg e.V. hoping to find as many sponsors as possible who are willing to support our commitment.
How can I support?
It is very easy! If you want to support the runners and the work of the organisation you can easily download the donation form from our website. All you have to do is to decide for a certain amount which you are willing to pay per kilometer, note down the amount on the form and send it back to us (Schiffbrücke 45, 24939 Flensburg or via mail info@fluechtlingshilfe-flensburg.de). You decide for the budget yourself – every single Euro is a support for our work. After the event we will inform you about the amount of kilometers our team was running. You can transfer the amount or give us the permission to charge your bank account the specified sum.

Why should I support?
In Flensburg there are many people with a migration background. In december 2018, 3237 refugees lived in Flensburg. Many of these have just come to Flensburg over the last few years.
With a great amount of volunteers we help day in and day out to facilitate the start in Flensburg. We give support in many ways in order to become independent in Germany and reach an equal participation within the society. While doing so we try to involve the people more into our work to strengthen the empowerment.
To be able to continue our work as we did so far we are always depending on donations and project fundings. This is why we want to run the marathon in June together – we would be more than grateful for your support!
